This course is for adults with few or no qualifications. It has been designed to be a transformative learning experience with high quality support and extensive preparation for Further Education.
What you will learn
|Psychology: The Individual in the Social Context||You will learn about topics from the psychology of individual differences (personality) and social psychology (body language).|
|Creative Writing||Here, you will learn how to write for a variety of purposes, e.g. to express feeling.|
|Political Issues in the UK||For example, decision-making in Scotland or the UK|
|Historical Study||Scottish and British History|
|Communication||How to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms, and how to summarise and evaluate a piece of writing.|
|Information and Communication Technology (ICT)||You will learn how to process and access information using ICT.|
Successful completion of the Preparation for FE course will allow progression to the Access to Higher Education: Arts and Humanities course (SWAP).
