Newbattle Abbey College is Scotland’s only residential adult education College. We are a national College designed specifically to meet the needs of adults returning to education looking for a second chance to learn.

If you are determined to succeed, looking for a challenge and willing to work towards your full potential, then Newbattle Abbey College is the place for you.

Students at Newbattle come from diverse backgrounds and from all over the UK and abroad. They come together to form a small learning community providing support for each other and working towards a common educational goal. Newbattle students have gone on to study at university, college or directly into employment.

We offer a Full-time and Open Learning Arts and Humanities Award and various other part-time short courses.
