The College had almost 800 visitors through its doors for this event in 2008. BBC Scotland made a surprise visit to Newbattle Abbey to carry out filming for Doors Open Day. Only four places were chosen to possibly feature on BBC Scotland and the College was one of them. The team from the BBC filmed the college internally, externally and produced an interview with Depute Principal Norah Fitzcharles in the Drawing Room. This year Doors Open Day is scheduled for 12 September and as this is the year of Homecoming, there may be some extra events. Further information will be posted here as details become available.
